Byron is the owner and main DJ of Buckeye Entertainment.  If your event date is not previously booked, Byron will be your DJ.

 

 

Experience

Byron has DJ'd hundreds of events in all types of settings.  He has DJ'd British house parties overseas to MC/DJing hundreds of wedding receptions here in Ohio.

Since forming Buckeye Entertainment, Byron has realized that his true calling are wedding receptions, where he has the ability to read the crowd and adapt to different age groups and tastes. That means Byron constantly stays up to date with new music to make sure he has every request one could ask for.  If an album came out on Tuesday, Byron has it on Wednesday!

Byron brings with him his professionalism, unique experiences and the ability to read the crowd to keep the party going!

Expect nothing but top-notch service and remember, Buckeye Entertainment has yet to have an unsatisfied client!

About Byron

Byron is the owner and main DJ of Buckeye Entertainment. Coming from a musical family in Ashtabula Ohio, Byron has had a lifelong love of music.  A self-proclaimed "music geek" Byron has been collecting music since a child with a current collection of over 16,500 albums!

Byron graduated from the Ohio State University in 2004, and upon graduating took a teaching job overseas in Bahrain, a small Middle Eastern country.

Byron's first official DJ event was in early 2005 in Bahrain. Other teachers, who knew Byron had a huge music collection, asked Byron to DJ a formal event. Having already tossed the idea around of starting a DJ company for years, he realized this would be the chance to see if this would be something he would actually enjoy doing.  So, he rounded up some professional DJ speakers (not an easy feat in a country like Bahrain) and managed to keep a packed dance floor all night--even though it was 100 degree plus weather!  Being able to read the crowd and use his music knowledge was like second nature, and he immediately became the go-to DJ in Bahrain for expatriates.

Though he thoroughly enjoyed teaching, Byron realized his true passion is being a DJ and making sure people have an unforgettable time! So, he proposed to his (now) wife, packed up, moved back to Ohio, got married and started Buckeye Entertainment in the fall of 2006. 

Today, on top of being a full time DJ, Byron is a stay at home dad during the day (while his wife continues to teach) with his first child, Emmerson Marie Gunter, born January 2010.
