Higgins, DJMike Higgins, aka Higgins (or as he likes to be called--DJ Higgins) has been with Buckeye Entertainment since day one!

Higgins is our second DJ in command, meaning if Byron (the owner) is booked already, Higgins would be your DJ. 

Byron and Higgins have been friends for over 10 years--which is very important. This means that Higgins can be counted on to be at your special event, even if you book us two years in advance. Unlike many of our competitors, we don't hire random 18 year old kids off the street who may or may not still be working for us when your wedding day approaches.  Having someone you know and trust as your second in command is priceless.  With us, you get who you hired.  Period.

 

Experience

Higgins has DJ'd or been the assistant DJ of hundreds of events in all types of settings throughout Ohio.

He has no problem switching from DJ to MC to event coordinator (or doing all three simultaneously) and puts all of his effort in to making your event perfect.

Expect nothing but top-notch service and remember, Buckeye Entertainment has yet to have an unsatisfied client!

About Higgins

Higgins was born and raised in northeast Ohio near Massillon, and migrated to Columbus to attend Ohio State, graduating with an electrical engineering degree in 2004.

Higgins' first official DJ event was in early 2006 at the Vault.  Byron asked Higgins to be his assistant DJ, knowing that Higgins has an unmatched ability to run and potentially fix complex equipment due to his electrical background.

Higgins was Byron's assistant DJ at every wedding up until 2009, learning the ins and outs of the DJ business.  Both he and Byron decided that he should start doing his own weddings--and the rest is history!  In fact, if you ask Higgins, he's an even better DJ than Byron.

Today, on top of being a full time DJ, Higgins is a manager at the Kenny Road license agency in Columbus.
