Mike Gunter, DJMike Gunter has been with Buckeye Entertainment since before there was a true Buckeye Entertainment.

Mike is the brother of Byron (the owner) and handles all of our northeast Ohio/PA/northwest NY weddings.

The importance of our relationship can not be stressed enough.  Being brothers means that Mike can be counted on to be at your special event, even if you book us two years in advance. Unlike many of our competitors, we don't hire random 18 year old kids off the street who may or may not still be working for us when your wedding day approaches.  Having someone you know and trust as your employee is priceless.  With us, you get who you hired.  Period.

 

Experience

Mike has DJ'd or been the assistant DJ at events in all types of settings throughout Ohio.

Mike has a great outgoing personality, and has no problem switching from DJ to MC to event coordinator (or doing all three simultaneously) and puts all of his effort in to making your event perfect.

Expect nothing but top-notch service and remember, Buckeye Entertainment has yet to have an unsatisfied client!

About Mike

Mike was born and raised in Ashtabula, which is in extreme northeast Ohio.

Mike has been a music geek his whole life--not only is he a talented multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, drums) but he is, by far and away, the best music trivia guy this side of the Mississippi.

Mike has always been around music either listening to, playing or composing.  It was only natural for Byron to bring him on board when he formed Buckeye Entertainment. 

Today, on top of being a full time DJ, Mike is the keys/guitar player in a local progressive alternative band, This Dust was Once the Man.  He is also a manager at a national retail chain.
